Four Stories is a collection of four stories fully illustrated with original wood engravings. The book's binding was designed and bound to showcase the different stories encased in the book, with an open spine and modified long and rope stitch for the four signatures.
Each story has a different tone matched by the color and style of woodcut. The first story, "Frogsong" is about a boy discovering a very special frog. The second story, "The flower and the weather" is about another strange relationship between the two title characters, as are the remaining two stories: "The bird and the blind man" and "The squirrel and the sea." Each book also comes with a protective slipcase cover for storage. A selection of prints from the book can be seen on the wood engravings page.
